Early Childhood
We offer many wonderful opportunities for children (birth to kindergarten) and their families to form connections and friendships. Our fabulous preschool offers extended care and a variety of enrichment classes. All programs are designed with the development of the whole child and family in mind and many include parent participation. In addition to the classes listed on this page, we offer the APJCC Preschool, Camp Katan, and Birthday Parties.
Sports
Small Group Swim Lessons (ages 6 months and up)
Group swim lessons at the JCC follow the Bubbles and Mastering Form teaching methods and curriculum. Our outdoor pool is kept at 82 degrees year-round. For schedule and more information, see the Aquatics web page or contact the Aquatics Office at aquatics@svjcc.org or 408.357.7423.
Private & Semi-Private Swim Lessons (all ages)
Need some one-on-one attention to help you reach your aquatic goals? These lessons are set up at your convenience and are held year round. Pricing is based on the student's membership status. To get started fill out an Interest Form, which can be found at the Service Desk or Aquatics Office. Contact the Aquatics Office at 408.357.7423 for more information.

Soccer Lessons Get off to a good start! PSA believes in the proper development of players at the youngest ages. Our soccer lessons provide instruction for players ages 3.5 to 5 years. Learning and enjoying the game with a professional and seasoned coach at a young age will ensure your child has fun, experiences success and builds the self confidence needed to enjoy the game of soccer for years to come. Multi-Sports Class (3-5 years)
The Multi-Sports Class is structured where children will learn skills in various sports such as basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, Futsal (indoor soccer), dodgeball, kickball, fitness relays, scooter ball and handball incorporated with aerobics. They will also develop team strategies through games in a physical education class setting. Please wear comforatble athletic clothing and gym shoes (no black soled shoes allowed). Class is taught by Mike Allen Sports. Registration for this program is done online at www.mikeallensports.com. Future Ballin' Ambassadors Basketball Development Class (3-5 years)
The purpose of this class is to develop future Ballin' Ambassadors. This class is fun and exciting and we continue to be amazed at how much these little guys and girls wow us at learning the Fundamentals of the game: dribbling, shooting, passing, defense and rebounding. Each week there will be a motivational word of the week where kids will be challenged to memorize. The last class ends with our traditional Ballin’ Ambassadors Skill Challenges/ Evaluation. Participants will receive a certificate of participation and Ballin’ Ambassadors wristband at the last class.

APJCC Dance Academy
Through the art of dance, you’ll acquire grace, style, etiquette, health and discipline that will last a lifetime. Our small class sizes allow for individual attention, and our professional dance instructors each have over 10 years of experience. Classes are ongoing so you can start anytime. Parent-Child Classes
Music Together (birth to 4 years, with an adult)
Bring your child on a musical journey with a Jewish twist through movement, games, and songs in a class based on the Music Together program. Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical. All children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in the music of our culture, provided that their early environment supports such learning. Classes include weekly, 45-minute classes of songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences--developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers--regardless of their own musical ability. Each family will receive a Songbook and 2-CD's. Adult must accompany child.
